For a limited time each summer, Wendy offers private River Limpia Ceremonies in the peaceful forests of Comptonville, where the flowing river, fresh air, ancient trees, and natural beauty become part of the healing itself.
These intimate ceremonies are designed to help you release heavy or stagnant energy, reconnect with your spirit, and create space for peace, clarity, protection, and new beginnings. Guided by ancestral traditions, prayer, sacred herbs, and the wisdom of nature, each ceremony is thoughtfully personalized to support what you are moving through in this season of your life.

Traditional Limpia Ceremonies In Grass Valley & Nevada City
A Limpia is a powerful yet gentle energy cleansing that helps you release what no longer serves you. Many who do this ceremony experience deep shifts like healing from grief, finding peace after hardships, or simply feeling at home again in their body and spirit.
Each Limpia begins with a heartfelt conversation to honor your story and intentions. Then, I go into prayer and call in the guidance of your ancestors, which influences the herbs and elements chosen specifically for your needs. With the support of sacred tools such as copal, flowers, feathers, eggs, crystals, and hand-made prayer candles, the ceremony works to cleanse and strengthen your energetic body, creating space for clarity, balance, peace, and renewal.
I also do an egg clearing and reading, a traditional practice where an egg is passed over the body to absorb heavy or unwanted energy. Afterward, the egg is cracked into water and “read,” revealing insights about the energies that were released and the guidance your spirit is calling for.
At the end of your Limpia, I’ll share rituals and practices you can carry into daily life to help anchor the healing and keep your energy aligned. Each ceremony also includes a follow-up session for continued guidance and empowerment, so the transformation can keep unfolding beyond our time together. Ceremonies are available at different private locations in Grass Valley and Nevada City.

This Limpia ceremony is designed to release the invisible weight of stagnant energy or wandering spirits that can make a home feel heavy or “off.” With prayer, ancestral guidance, and powerful cleansing rituals, I restore your space with balance, protection, and peace, transforming your home into a sanctuary once again.
Even if you’re not experiencing obvious disturbances, a Limpia is a beautiful practice to do every now and then to keep the energy and vibration of your home high. The energy of our space affects us more than we realize, shaping our mood, our health, and even the flow of blessings into our lives. House clearing limpias can:

Bring the healing experience of a traditional limpia ceremony into your own home. Each Custom Limpia Kit is thoughtfully prepared by Wendy using prayer, intention, and spiritual guidance to support your unique healing journey.
Because no two people are the same, no two kits are the the same. After discussing your intentions, Wendy personally selects the herbs, candles, crystals, and spiritual tools that best support what you are working through, whether that is protection, healing, releasing heavy energy, finding clarity, or calling in new beginnings.
Your kit may include handcrafted intention candles, bath crystals, fresh herb bundles, Palo Santo, incense, crystals, a Mama Mary candle, and other sacred items chosen specifically for you.
As part of the experience, Wendy also offers a personalized candle reading. After your ritual, you'll send photos of your candle flame and wax, and she'll schedule a follow-up call to share the messages that came through and provide additional spiritual guidance.

Ceremonies are typically held at private locations in Grass Valley and Nevada City. If you would like Wendy to travel to you outside of these areas, a travel fee may apply depending on distance.
